You might be getting more posts from me this month since I need a kick in the pants to jump start my creativity. I’m going to the participate in the DC Ladies Blogtober. They are giving a writing/design prompt every day, so get excited! Today is my Fall Bucket list:

Great list! We also have the goal to use the crockpot once a week – if I say it out loud, it will happen, right? 🙂
Truth! Do you have any good recipes? We are doing low carb so it’s pretty much put ‘meat’ in the crockpot and season. Yawn.
Love your list! We really need to start using our crock pot more. I want to look into recipes for soups, since I’m not a big red meat eater. I have made some of the best pork barbecue in the crock pot! I’d highly suggest it. I’m still perfecting the recipe, but if you use a pork bottom, combine some seasonings for a rub (paprika, chili powder, garlic salt, onion powder), place it over some onions, and fill the crock pot with broth it comes out pretty tasty. I used chicken broth for the last one and it was delicious.
That sounds AH-MAZING!
I found you on the #TDCLBlogtober14 I am planning on reading a lot too! I read about 1 book a week during the colder months 🙂 Great blog!
Great list! I have a love/hate with the crock pot. I hate that everything just gets all mushy and somewhat flavorless.
However, I do have an amazing crock pot recipe that has become one of my go to’s. It’s Maple Dijon pork chops and they are really, really good. Not very low carb because of the maple syrup, but if you used sugar free, it might work for you.

I am sure I could make this ‘lower’ carb! I follow BookBub and they usually have at least one low carb cookbook for free for Kindle. That’s helping!
Great list, Jackie! I love the idea of having the TV on less and listening to more music! I just might have to make that a goal this fall. 🙂

My parents always had the record player on (very loudly too) and I have great memories of dancing around the living room to Elton John, Madonna and Fogerty. I want Mike to have those same memories.
